At Delka, quality is not a one-off goal: it is a daily commitment, structured and monitored at every stage of our production chain. For our customers as well as our teams, this means reliable, safe products that comply with the strictest requirements of the food market.
Quality at Delka is not based solely on systems and procedures: it is driven by every employee. Quality governed by recognised standards
Our quality management system is based on IFS Food certification, one of the most demanding standards in the food industry. To maintain this level, we voluntarily carry out at least two internal audits per year, in addition to annual external audits. Our products also comply with FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) requirements, allowing us to export to the most regulated markets in the world.
Food safety is managed using the HACCP method, which identifies and controls critical control points at every stage of production: receiving and storage temperature of raw materials, metal detection and pH control. All our records are now 100% digital, ensuring complete traceability from raw material to finished product.
Certifications that meet all your markets
Delka is Halal certified by EuroHalal, an organisation recognised throughout Europe and recognised by the Halal Federation of Belgium, as well as by HQC, a globally recognised certification body. Our products are also Kosher certified, with an inspector physically present throughout the entire production process, ensuring full traceability.
For our export customers, we provide all the certificates and documents required for your procedures: certificates of origin, customs clearance documents, non-irradiation certificates, analyses, and Halal and Kosher certifications.
Product shelf-life guarantee
Managing consumption dates is an integral part of our quality commitments to our customers. Every product delivered comes with a guaranteed remaining shelf life upon receipt, in line with our partners’ specifications. We ensure strict compliance with use-by dates (DLC) and best-before dates (DLUO) at every stage — from manufacturing through to shipping — to guarantee smooth, risk-free commercialisation. Any product whose expiry date does not meet the agreed requirements is systematically blocked and never leaves our production site.
