Governance

Elément décoratif en forme de vague

Our values and purpose now formally incorporate the SDGs, driven by an interdisciplinary working group that steers our actions and reports on progress both internally and externally. Corporate governance is built around transparency, ethics and the fight against corruption, directly linked to Sustainable Development Goal n°16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). This commitment is reinforced by the oversight of our parent company, Floridienne, and by regular audits carried out by independent external auditors, ensuring the compliance of our business practices and our supply chain.

Our purchasing policy incorporates ESG (environmental, social, ethical) criteria for supplier evaluation, guaranteeing responsible sourcing throughout our value chain, which represents a key issue for our business.

This transparent and measurable approach, recognised through our nomination for the Trends Gazelles 2025 awards, reflects our conviction that a sustainable sauce Made in Belgium is built as much on the factory floor as in trusted relationships with our stakeholders.

Employees of Floridienne-Biobest have access to a dedicated reporting channel for serious matters, available via the Whistleblower Software platform (https://whistleblowersoftware.com/secure/floridiennebiobest). This system allows any wrongdoing, unethical conduct, illegal act or breach of internal policy to be reported — even on the basis of reasonable suspicion alone — either confidentially (with identity disclosed) or fully anonymously. All reports are handled securely and confidentially.
